In 2002, with 14 years experience working with some of the most successful agencies in the country, I found myself somewhat disillusioned. I knew that regardless of the industry accolades and ongoing success that there was huge room for improvement in the areas of customer service and ultimate satisfaction.  As a senior salesperson and having outperformed 98% of sales people worldwide, I was, on occasions able to influence office policy, but most of the time I found my initiatives where given a polite hearing and little more.  I realised that if I was to effect real change and implement my initiatives, I would have to take the next step and open my own agency.

In 2003 we opened James Holt Properties Pty Ltd and set to work creating the finest real estate company in the world.  What motivated me was the knowledge that it could be done better and with integrity.  The old stereotype of the slick, fast talking real estate agent had run its course.  People were crying out for a professional organisation they could trust.  An organisation that valued their clients and built a business based on integrity and exemplary customer service.  An organisation that recognised their clients as intelligent, well informed and deserving of respect.  I am excited everyday by the challenge of shaping an organisation that excels at providing everything you could ask for from your real estate agent.
